County has a world-class Park System. 16 of those parks are home to some of the most
challenging and enjoyable golf courses in the area. These golf courses range from the pro
course of Brown Deer Park to a course, designed for the beginner. Some of the parks, such
as Dretzka and Oakwood, also have driving ranges. Grant Park has a new practice sand
bunker. There are Discount
Cards available for course fees. It is wise to make tee-time reservations or
check on the course by calling ahead. On this list you will find out about the County
courses, their fees, length, par and a small description of the course. These courses are
well maintained by the park system and provide us with many opportunities for golf outings
that are inexpensive and fun. Some of the courses have electric carts for rent, and if you
didn't bring your clubs you can rent them from the clubhouse. |
