| The
Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory, better known as "The Domes," is three
unique glass and steel domes located in Mitchell Park. There are two permanent and one
seasonal displays. In the Arid dome there is a world-class collection of succulents and
cacti living in a natural desert. The desert setting is complete with an oasis of palms
and grasses. See rare flowers and exotic birds, lizards and other wildlife in the Tropical
dome. Step into this lush rain forest setting and listen to the rush of a waterfall and
the chatter of tropical birds. |
