One of over 33 basilicas in the U.S. Magnificent 97-year-old national landmark. Its architecture, stained glass and murals are a tribute to Milwaukee's cultural history and heritage. Built by Polish immigrants.

Located two blocks north of the Pfister Hotel, the cathedral is the seat of the Catholic Archdiocese of Milwaukee. A historic landmark dedicated in 1853. Tours by appointment. Call for daily Mass and reconciliation schedule. Saturday Mass at 5:15 PM, Sunday Masses at 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:00 AM

A majestic church with stunning view of Kettle Moraine. Sky-piercing spires, mosaics and inspiring stained glass windows form a perfect setting for the shrine, with exquisite 19th-century statue of Mary and the child Jesus.

The School Sisters of St. Francis are an international order of women religious dedicated to the empowerment of women and education of children in needy populations worldwide. Their international headquarters provide non-profit services for their Milwaukee community, and house the magnificent St. Joseph Center Chapel.

This 15th-century chapel was originally in France and reconstructed on the campus in 1965. Open: Mon.-Sat. 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Sun. 12:00 – 4:00 PM. Closed when the University is closed (including all major holidays) Free tours.

Designed by Clas, Shepard and Clas during an era of revival fantasy architecture, the temple is one of a few examples of the Indian Saracenic style of architecture in the United States. Based on the Taj Mahal in India the main dome is 30' in diameter and is flanked by two small domes. A pair of recumbent camels and two solid bronze lanterns grace the main entry. Inside the ceramic tile, plaster lattice work and decorative floral designs are equally impressive. Open for self-guided tours daily, Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Group tours, guided tours and weekends by appointment.
